Provision of PPO : Yes (6.5 LPA if offered)
Stage-2
The company had planned for an online test followed by a GD but due to time constraint
was not able to conduct it. Instead, it had just shortlisted the students who had registered
for the company on the CPI basis for each branch in separate categories for girls and boys.
No. of shortlisted students based on CPI :-
ME – 2 boys and 1 girl
EE – 4 boys and 2 girls
ECE – 1 boy and 1 girl
CSE - 1 girl
Stage-3
Technical cum HR Interview Round
The interview was light as they asked me about my areas of interest and why this
particular interest, if you have some previous industrial training then a brief about it
as I didn’t have one so it was not asked. A brief description of your project. They would
certainly discuss about the intern location there itself for your consent. However after
all this they selected students based on CPI.
Results
Finally, 6 students { myself, 4 from EE(2 boys, 2 girls), 1 girl from CSE } were selected for the internship role at Alstom.
Suggestions/Tips :-
Maintain a good CPI and they did select more students from EE as they are more focussed on Electric powered locomotives.
